Chad achieved the level of Black Belt in Kyokoshin Karate, which is world famous as a very highly regarded traditional style of karate. He also competed in numerous international full contact tournaments. In 1998 Chad came 2nd in the Australian Open IKO Super Heavyweight Full Contact Karate Tournament at Jupiters Casino on the Gold Coast; in 2001 he won the South Pacific Kyokoshin Full Contact Karate Championships at Crown Casino in Melbourne and also represented Australia in the Open Division of the World Full Contact Tournament in Japan. In 2002 he was placed 12th in the Open Russia Cup International Full Contact Karate Championships in Moscow, Russia which is essentially the equivalent of the World Titles. More recently Chad has also had extensive formal training in Boxing and Ju Jitsu grappling.

Most relevantly though, Chad has had over 10 years ‘genuine’ front line experience in the security industry, which began with Adrenalin, then Brisbane’s biggest Sports Bar & Nightclub operated by the Hogan brothers and more recently as the Main In-house Trainer for In-front Security, which is one of Australia’s largest and most respected security providers. As an example; In-front recently supplied security for the Dali Lama’s tour of Australia.
