Gary and I were walking through an inner-city car park late at night when we came across two very large but fit looking men in their late 20’s who were mugging the car park attendant. They obviously knew how to throw a punch and had brutally bashed him. In fact, he was later taken to hospital on a stretcher. When we arrived he was barely conscious and on the ground, so we immediately went to his assistance. Given that we looked like a couple of middle aged guys and half their size, his attackers turned on us. That was a big mistake on their part. The whole event was captured on CCTV security cameras and when the police arrived they asked us where we learnt to fight like that? We didn't bother explaining but when the fellow who was attacked recovered a week later, he wrote me a very kind letter, which is attached with the details of the police constable who attended (click here).
